Todd Martin, MBA, FACHE, currently serves on NERUCA’s Board of Directors as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, where he oversees budgeting, financial planning, and resource management efforts to ensure the organization’s financial stability and compliance. With over a decade of involvement in NERUCA, Mr. Martin has held several key leadership positions, including Board Member, Treasurer, Vice President, and President, as well as Chair of the Education Committee and Strategic Partners Committee. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in expanding NERUCA’s industry influence and strengthening its financial framework. Passionate about advancing urgent care as a vital component of the healthcare system, Mr. Martin actively advocates for the industry in the Northeast. He works to foster a favorable regulatory environment through governmental affairs initiatives, professional education programs, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships that promote industry growth and collaboration.
Outside of his work with NERUCA, Mr. Todd serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Emergency One Urgent Care, where he oversees strategic planning, development, and operations for urgent care and occupational health services. In this role, he collaborates closely with physicians, clinical staff, local business leaders, and the community to ensure the delivery of high-quality, prompt healthcare services. Mr. Todd is also dedicated to advancing occupational and preventive health models, working to develop innovative solutions that enhance workplace health and improve public access to effective medical care. His leadership has played a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, expanding service offerings, and strengthening Emergency One’s commitment to patient-centered care.
Before joining Emergency One, Mr. Todd held leadership positions in occupational health and corporate wellness. As Executive Director of Kingston WoRx Occupational Health & Wellness Center, he developed an occupational health model tailored to the needs of local businesses by working directly with business leaders to identify and address their healthcare priorities. Previously, as Corporate Director of Rehabilitation and Workers’ Compensation at Quad Graphics in Milwaukee, he led the strategic planning, management, and direction of six on-site health centers nationwide. Under his leadership, these centers delivered comprehensive physical rehabilitation, injury prevention programs, ergonomics services, and worker’s compensation case management to employees and their families. His expertise in corporate healthcare solutions, employee wellness, and occupational health has enabled him to implement innovative, patient-centered strategies throughout his career.
Mr. Martin is actively involved in professional boards and committees, currently serving as President of the Safety & Health Council of the Hudson Valley, an OSHA VPP Partner. His past roles include Vice President and Treasurer of NYS Dept of Labor’s Job Services Employers Committee, ANSI Z365 “Control of Cumulative Trauma Injuries” representing the Printing Industries of America, a board member of Urgent Care Assurance Company and the Urgent Care Association Political Action Committee, and the Wisconsin State Medical Society Low Back Outcome Study Committee.
He earned his B.S. in Athletic Training from Ithaca College in 1990 and his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 1999. In 2011, he achieved Fellowship status in Healthcare Administration from the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
