Ryan Sadlier serves as a Board Member of NERUCA and Chair of the Education Committee. His priorities include expanding access to high-value educational resources, attracting new members through engaging programming, and amplifying awareness of NERUCA’s public health and advocacy work so urgent care remains central to policy and community health discussions. He also contributes to the annual conference, valuing the collaboration and impact of NERUCA’s events.

Ryan is an Urgent Care Operations and Innovation Advisor and a seasoned executive and growth strategist in the sector. Previously, he held leadership roles at Emergence Health Holdings and CareWell Urgent Care, where he oversaw multi-location operations, drove revenue growth, and implemented best-in-class efficiencies that improved patient experience, profitability, and market positioning.

Earlier in his career, Ryan served as a Senior Operator at CareWell Urgent Care—which merged with ClearChoiceMD in 2021 and is now managed by Emergence Health Holdings—where he partner-oversaw operations for 40 centers across five New England states. Based in Rhode Island, he strengthened relationships with strategic hospital partners, built rapport with local policymakers, secured licensure through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and led multiple successful UCA reaccreditation surveys. He brings 14 years of leadership spanning healthcare, retail, and construction management, sits on multiple hospital committees, leads a joint-venture relationship, and serves as a liaison to UMass Memorial Hospital.

A devoted girl dad, Ryan’s life outside work revolves around his kids.
