Rajesh Geria, MD is a board certified emergency physician at CityMD-Summit Health currently residing in East Brunswick, NJ. He has over 12 years of full-time experience across corporate and private urgent care settings. CityMD Urgent Care has over 170 offices across NY/NJ and is integrated with Summit Health primary and multi-specialty care giving patients incredible access to comprehensive care when they need it most.

Dr. Geria holds clinical appointments at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Palisades Medical Center in NJ where he works per diem in the Emergency Department. He is a fellowship trained expert in point-of-care ultrasound and served as core educational faculty and Ultrasound fellowship director at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in NJ for 10 years.  He has recently started to use ultrasound in urgent care practice and believes it has tremendous potential to impact patient care.

Dr. Geria has served on the NJ American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) board of directors where he consistently brought insight about urgent care practice trends to the table.  He leads a large Facebook Urgent Care Physician group and serves as a mentor to Emergency Physicians considering a career in Urgent Care Medicine.  He recently co-authored an article in the Annals of Emergency Medicine highlighting Urgent Care as a viable career alternative for Emergency Physicians and the need for increased educational resources and salary to sustain growth.  Dr Geria is an avid skier, traveler, hiker, music lover, tennis player, dog dad and family man.
