President, Owner, and Medical Director, MedSurg Urgent Care
Dr. Ravinder Singh currently serves on NERUCA’s Board of Directors and is an active member of several committees, including the Government Affairs Committee, Public Health Committee, and Payor Relations Committee. Now in his second year of involvement with NERUCA, Dr. Singh brings a deep commitment to advancing urgent care as a recognized and distinct specialty.
As both a physician and entrepreneur, Dr. Singh is passionate about shaping the future of urgent care. His vision includes establishing a dedicated fee schedule and billing codes specific to urgent care, along with the development of a formal training pathway for future urgent care providers. Through his service on the board and its committees, he aims to contribute to the initiatives that will help achieve these goals while strengthening the infrastructure and recognition of urgent care medicine across the region.
Dr. Singh is the President, Owner, and Medical Director of MedSurg Urgent Care. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Michigan State University’s Sparrow Hospital in 2011 and has been board certified in Family Medicine since 2012. His clinical interests include outpatient procedures and urgent care medicine.
Following his residency, Dr. Singh served as a family medicine physician and residency educator at Universal Primary Care, a rural health affiliate of the University of Buffalo. He then practiced urgent care medicine with St. Luke’s University Health Network from 2013 to 2018 before opening his own urgent care center, which he continues to lead today.
Dr. Singh is inspired by the strong foundation built by NERUCA’s founders and believes there is tremendous opportunity for continued growth and professional recognition of the urgent care field. He values NERUCA’s collaborative mission and is proud to contribute to its impact on improving healthcare access and delivery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Singh enjoys playing soccer and tennis, listening to music, and spending time with his three children.
