Dr. Ruvo is a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital/Westchester County Medical Center in New York, and served as Co-Chief Resident. He has over thirty years of clinical and administrative experience in Emergency Medicine. He is currently the President and CEO of MedExcel USA, Inc. He has reorganized MedExcel into a progressive group, ready to meet the challenges of the ever-changing medical environment.
Dr. Ruvo is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the North East Regional Urgent Care Association (NERUCA) and was installed as President of NERUCA in January 2021. He also serves as the Medical Director of Mobile Life Support Services and is a member of UCAOA, ACEP, and NYACEP.
