Markintosh Barthelemy, MD, MBA
Dr. Barthelemy is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Central Jersey Urgent Care, LLC (“CJUC”). Dr. Barthelemy founded and co-owns CJUC, a group of six urgent care centers based in and around Central New Jersey. Dr. Barthelemy obtained a dual M.D. and M.B.A. from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University School of Business. Dr. Barthelemy completed his emergency medicine training at the University at Buffalo in 2009 where he specialized in ultrasound. He received the honor of NJ Top Doc as voted by his peers in 2017 and 2018. Dr. Barthelemy continues to provide excellent care at CJUC, which has been rated the best urgent care center in Monmouth County, NJ and was also awarded the Women’s Choice Award for urgent care.
When not providing compassionate care to his patients, Dr. Barthelemy likes spending time with his wife and 4 sons. He also loves traveling, reading and is an avid fisherman.
As a NERUCa Board Member, Dr. Barthelemy would like to build on the success of the former and current Board Members. Dr. Barthelemy would like to expand the membership of NERUCA through a more strategic outreach to other Urgent Care Centers in the Northeast and provide important education on the benefits provided by Urgent Care Centers through greater involvement. His goal would be to build on his experience as a Member of the Political Action Committee to advocate for the goals and mission of NERUCA and provide greater protections for the operation of Urgent Care Centers.
