Novel Coronavirus 2019: What To Know
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed five novel coronavirus 2019 (2019-nCoV) cases in four states (Arizona, California, Illinois and Washington) as of January 30.
China’s health authorities report transmission can occur prior to the onset of symptoms. The CDC has not confirmed this.
The World Health Organization is meeting to assess whether the outbreak warrants being declared a global emergency.
